LAST SWIMS OF THE SEASON


THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2013

Day sorties from Velun took in Mali Losinj and Veli Losinj on the island of Losinj funnily enough, the next island from Cres across a small bridge. We even went swimming again, we're such brave and hardy souls. We swam at Mali Losinj and then the next day swam again after much walking to mountain peaks and the pretty hilltop town of Lubenice, founded about four thousand years ago overlooking the Adriatic. We descended for 45 mins from Lubenice to the beautiful beach way below to swim the length of the beach and back before a couple more dives and a warm up in the sun while we had lunch. I suspect these are the last swims of the season...
